Yoona had barely taken a step inside their dorm room when Yuri grabbed her wrist and pulled her to their joined beds. It wasn't surprising at all to her, the media portrays their partnership very much parallel to reality. Before they drop, on their stomachs, on their star-patterned covers, Yoona managed to blurt out a "'Sup?".

"Yoong, look at this."

Yuri brought a bottle to their eye-level and the two girls brought their faces close together to scrutinize whatever it was.

"Looks like soju." It did look like soju in terms of shape and color but the dirty white paper attached to it said nothing about rice nor any other starch.

All there were in the middle were three images in a row, all in black outlines: a short strand, a cup, and a heart. The heart though, had three Kanji characters (which they had yet to understand) below it, and was filled in pink.

"A gift from S♥NEs?"

Yuri reached for a pink highlighter lying somewhere else in the bed and showed it to Yoona.

"I got bored waiting for you. You didn't even bring me anything."

"We only shared half a hamburger, unnie. Fany-unnie wasn't even satisfied. Anyway, Hair?"

"Hair? Huh? Oh. Probably."

"I wanna try it."

They both giggled.

"Me too."

They ended up not opening the bottle that night, figuring no one to try it on. They weren't scared ("Haha, Kim Joo-won and Gil Ra-im, haha, Yoong, help me I can't breathe, omona, haha!"), but they just had their hair dyed that morning. Two members of Girls' Generation brought to a hospital in Japan due to chemical intoxication wouldn't make really good news.

The bottle, which they kept a secret like many of their bedtime chatters, made it to their home in Korea. Still full below the brim, but not anymore sealed. None of the two was able to resist sniffing the liquid. Also dipping a finger into it, and licking.

Smelled like herb, looked like water, tasted like some sweet flower nectar.

Yuri copied the characters on a Mickey Mouse notepad and asked Sooyoung what they mean, and when she got the answer she knew they didn't need to ask.

It was Yoona who snipped a pinch of fur from Jackson Hwang, it was Yuri who sneakily dropped a few of the liquid and a strand of the dog into Tiffany's can of Coke.

They watched intently, they observed fervently. They thought nothing had changed, almost challenging each other to down the rest of the bottle's contents and throw it away.

When Tiffany sobbed after talking to their manager about not letting Jackson come with them to Japan, and when she stroke her sleeping pet's hair like there was no tomorrow, Yuri and Yoona looked at each other with open mouths.

"Doesn't it have an expiration date or something?"

They tried it on a handful of unsuspecting Japanese citizens, not that it would make a difference.

They tried it only once when they went back home, in Taeyeon's water bottle. They gathered hair from all nine members (it was easy as ABC as they living in the same space), giving more reason for Taeyeon to be called umma after that.

It was the water bottle the leader playfully splashed and sprinkled on their fans.

Not much later Yoona worked on Yuri's Pocari Sweat. She didn't need to, however.
