✮prompt→ "you are still beautiful to me." ©epik high; one. It's been over a month since Tiffany changed her cheeks and her jaw and her eyes. It's been weeks since Jessica mistook her for a trainee in the company building and walked right by her without realizing. It's been days since Jessica woke up to a strange face in her bed until she realized who it really was. It's been hours since Tiffany broke down in the bathroom of their hotel room, tears streaming down her face as she stared in the mirror--at her new face. "This isn't me," she whispered to Jessica when she knocked on the door to check on her (she'd been in there far too long). And now Jessica was sitting on the floor with Tiffany held in her arms, eerily silent compared to how distraught she had been earlier. "Sometimes I wish this hadn't happened." Tiffany whispered, eyes closed and face buried in Jessica's shoulders. There is no shaking now, just a matter-of-fact tone. Jessica feels a surge of pity--they've all been here after all. "Japanese fans would have loved me anyways, right?" Jessica threads her fingers through her hair, conflicted. Perhaps it's better to lie and say no, they wouldn't have. Perhaps then, Tiffany would have been able to have a purpose for everything. Perhaps management would make sense then. But she knows that this is showbiz, and there's enough lies and deceit going on around them that she shouldn't lie to Tiffany, even if it hurts her more. "Who wouldn't love you for who you are?" Jessica asks, voice breaking to a whisper half way through. Tiffany's hand finds her own, and she's almost surprised to find that the grip is the same. Cradling her face in her hands, Jessica takes in the new cheeks, the new way her eyes crinkle when she smiles. She takes in the nose, and the slightly rounded jawline--Jessica knows that even if it takes decades of getting used too, Tiffany is still Tiffany. As tears start to slip down her cheeks, Jessica wipes them away with her thumbs. "I'll love you no matter what you look like," Jessica says to make Tiffany smile, and it still brings happy flutters to her heart. And when they kiss, it still feels like the happiest moment of her life, because when they kiss, she can feel Tiffany's heart beating against her own. It brings warmth to her heart and peace to her mind. Now, whenever Jessica crosses paths with Tiffany in the hallway, she invites her to dinner instead. ✉note: A little something I wrote for everyone, because to me, it doesn't matter what you look like, it just matters who you are. ♥ yes, i'm done being sappy now.

I'm sorry you feel like crying :( But thanks for reading! And Tiffany has changed her face multiple times, and I don't think it's necessarily her making the choices. Sometimes we're just not happy with the way we look, and sometimes we're influenced by popular culture and what "we're supposed to do" enough that we feel the need to have to change what we look like. No offense meant by this comment, but South Korea is a very plastic-surgery centric country, and plastic surgery is suggested to most girls, which is both sad and depressing, in my opinion. But it's not just South Korea, America, and most countries are similar. Again, thanks for reading :)
